What counts as local
Anywhere inside the Las Vegas valley, from Summerlin on the west side to Henderson on the southeast, from North Las Vegas down to the edges of Enterprise, is billed as a local move by the hour.
The crew size and the truck are matched to what you have. A one bedroom apartment usually needs two movers and a smaller truck, while a four bedroom house with a garage full of tools calls for a full crew and a bigger box truck.
If you are not sure how much you have, a short video walk through each room lets us size the job accurately instead of guessing high and charging you for a truck you did not need.
How a local move day runs
The crew arrives in the window you booked, walks the house with you, and pads door frames and stair rails before anything moves. Furniture is wrapped in blankets and stretch film and carried in a planned order so the truck loads efficiently.
At the new address, everything goes to the room you point at. Beds get put back together, and the crew walks the empty truck with you before leaving to confirm nothing was left behind.
Most single family moves inside the valley finish in a single day, even with a full house and a garage.
Moving in the heat
Summer in Las Vegas is not a small factor. We start early, keep the truck doors shut between loads to hold the temperature down, and rotate the crew on the heaviest carries so nobody is pushed past a safe pace.
Anything that softens or spoils in heat, like candles, certain electronics, and houseplants, is best carried in your own air conditioned car. We will point those out during the walk through.
HOA rules and gated communities
A lot of Las Vegas neighborhoods sit inside HOAs or gated communities with rules about moving hours, guest gate codes, and where a truck can park. Check with your HOA a week or two out and pass the rules along to us.
We have worked inside most of the larger gated communities across Summerlin, Henderson, and the southwest valley and generally know what to expect at the gate.
